Eye Bright Delight

So . . . this week I am loving
Eye Bright by Benefit!

I leave on Friday for an 11 day trip to Africa!!! I am SOO excited!!! However, my usual daily makeup routine is just not going to cut it. I need to do a fast, everyday face with as few items as possible, since I am attempting the impossible . . . packing light!
Eye Bright is the perfect item to take with me because of its superpower multitasking abilities! It is a very, very, pale pink pencil that I can use for brightening under-eye circles, to highlight under my brow and even to highlight my cheek bones! What is my favorite use for Eye Bright? The water line! It glides on effortlessly and actually lasts, which is a task that very few products have been able to accomplish on my waterline. It makes my eyes look instantly whiter and more awake!

Eye Bright is definitely my must-have product of the week!

Drop me a comment if you have any suggestions on other great multitasking, must-have items for traveling.
I will hopefully post again before I leave to show you all of the items that will appear in my tiny makeup bag!

Hope you all are having a great week!

Glossimer Gloom

Soo . . . I have been reading such great reviews on
Chanel Glossimers, yesterday I decided to stop by my Chanel counter and check them out! So I stroll up and was immediately greeted with, "Can I help you?" I responded politely with, "Not yet, thank you, I just want to look around for a minute." Not 5 seconds later another lady came from behind the counter and, "Is there anything I can help you find?" I replied again, "I'm just looking right now, thanks." Well the second lady just stood there looking at me, when a third lady walked around the other side of the counter and said, "Can I help you?" Wow. Okay. So I get retail, I worked retail for years, and I get that they want and/or need to make a sale, but seriously? Lady 2 and 3 stood behind the counter just looking at me until I finally said, "Thank you!" and escaped. I felt a bit overwhelmed and uncomfortable. Oh, and I never even got to look at the Glossimers! Boo! I guess I'll do some online shopping. Any suggestions? What is your favorite shade?

Polish Party

So . . . I had been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for about 3 years straight. I started thinking . . . WOW, I have spent a lot of money on my nails!!! Well about 3 months ago, I gave it up! Yay for me! It wasn't easy, especially because I love my nail tech and she is a good friend of mine, but I did it! Since then I have been really into nail polish, there are so many fun colors out there that I had been missing out on! I no longer miss my pink and white acrylic, I am having too much fun with my nails now!
Anyway . . . my color of the day is O.P.I. Teal the Cows Come Home! LOVE IT!
